Back pain is constantly thought of as only a structural issue. You search on the internet and you will many products offering their help, but most will only teach you some stretches and exercises that they say will give you that miracle cure.
Even if you only stretch or strengthen, from a structural perspective you are ONLY covering a third of the causes. Very few teach you about joints or your pelvis and other areas that are more common causes of back pain. But I digress…
Constipation and many other lower bowel issues can also cause back pain and vice versa, back pain can create these conditions. Why?
The large intestine and the lower back have the same nerve supply. Affect one and you will affect the other. Also each organ has muscles that are associated with it. The large intestine relates to your Hamstrings, Quadratus Lumborum and Tensor Fascia Lata. All of thee are pelvis stabilizers and hence allow lower back pain to occur.
So if you are having lower back pain and notice that you are not visiting the “little room” as often as you should be, then you may need to look a bit further away from your spine to remove all the causes of your back pain.
By correcting all the structural issues, not just a few muscles, you will also improve your bowel function. This is why back pain relief has more benefits than just removing pain, it will improve many other health aspects.
But please remember, back pain relief should be holistic. You need to make sure you remove all the causes or your back pain will return.
