Chronic back pain is prominent today for many reasons. It affects your day to day life as you are less able to participate in activities. Your work suffers, you can’t play with your children and leisure pursuits are almost non-existent.

Back pain can be easily prevented from becoming chronic. There is one disease that creates almost every case of chronic back pain, yet it is seldom addressed or looked at.

If this disease was eradicated you would find back pain would remain in the areas of injuries. You would be 100% structurally healthy and then have a fall, and back pain would occur. There would be no other type of back pain.

Did you know that the majority of back pain is not caused by injury? Recent research has shown that over 90% of back pain cases reported injury as the cause. Injuries such as lifting a child or object, from bending or twisting, from household chores such as gardening or vacuuming. Yet the research proved that these injuries were never severe enough to create pain.

This is why you may feel a little stiff and sore, carry on working and then suddenly you bend over and all hell breaks loose … back pain has arrived with vengeance.
