If you have sciatic nerve pain, then you know precisely what I mean when I say it’s a “pain in the butt”. Sciatica is a common form of lower back pain and when you have sciatic nerve pain life becomes somewhat unbearable.
You find it is hard if not impossible to do most of the so called “normal” daily activities. You bend or reach for something and then you get that electric shock in your butt and down your leg. Sciatica nerve pain is a real pain!
There is some good news finally. There is a simple 2 step cure for sciatic nerve pain. Why?
In sciatica there are 2 common things that occur. First you have your Piriformis muscle that tightens. This is the most common cause of sciatic nerve pain. The sciatic nerve either runs directly through the Piriformis muscle or right next to it. If the muscle tightens then the sciatic nerve is irritated and your sciatica begins.
The second most common cause of sciatica is a twisted and distorted pelvis. Your pelvis is like a foundation to a house. If the foundations are strong then your spine will work well. If the foundation is out of balance, muscles and joints elsewhere will tighten.
There are 4 main distortion patterns that can occur. If you know what type you have, then you can eliminate your sciatic nerve pain easily.
The simple 2 step cure for sciatic nerve pain is this…
First you need to rebalance your pelvis and second, ease the tension on the Piriformis muscle. Do this and you relieve over 90% of sciatic nerve pain conditions. Disc injuries and other lower back pain irregularities only ever cause a fraction of the sciatica conditions. Disc injuries may be more severe, but they are less common.
Sciatic nerve pain is simple to remove if you remove the 2 most common causes of it. First you need to find out where your pelvis is distorted (you can do that for free here) and then you need to balance your pelvis and then ease the Piriformis tension.
Sciatic nerve pain does not need to rule your life, it can ease and you can get back to all the activities you once did. All you need to do is use the 2 step cure for sciatic nerve pain.

25|Mar|2009 1I’ve had sciatica for more than 12 years, all of been told to do is stretch. I’m sick of strecthing and doing exercise, and I’m still sore. I have never heard of pelvis twisting before. Is it really important. I was told by my doc that i would have sciatic pain for the rest of my life, it was just how it was, unless I have an op. What do you think.

25|Mar|2009 2Dr Teague says: yes Warren, the pelvis is very important. It is commonly left untreated by practitioners and seldom taught with self help techniques. It is the biggest reason why back pain and sciatica remain. Your sciatic nerve pain should ease, if not seek help from someone else. Pain of any type is not “normal”.
Good luck and take care.
